There is no literature that says that menstruating women can't enter temples. All this has been propagated against the women for centuries now.

Here in Hyderabad, locally when we hear something extremely unique, different and brave we use the word "Aatt". It losely translates to "Kya baat Kahi" or "to the point".I literally spoke the word out of happiness after I read this post!
