Drunk in a utopian stupor
Euphoric joy, looking at the sunset
Just like a dream that refuses to fade;
As we talk about theories of reincarnation,
Vibes of uncanny familiarity dawn in
Us, the place and the conversation!

Note: This is an acrostic poem. It is a poetry form, where the first letter of each line of the poem (read vertically) spells out a word. The poem is about the message of the word formed.
I loved how you have laced in the essence of dejavu in between the lines. Nicely done Acrostic Purba.
ReplyDeleteA lovely acrostic poem with a perfect blend of dejavu with the lines.

Cool word choice for D! Acrostics are tough - well done for taking the form on!

Your poems make me feel nice. Kudos to your writing skills that make people emote. :)
ReplyDeleteThis sure seems one of the toughest form. Beautifully done Purba :)
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you manage it, looks really hard to do :-)

ReplyDeleteVery neat! YAM xx
Wonder if anyone else would weave Dejavu as good as this my dear, keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteThe last line made me nostalgic of good old times (although that's not the gist). Penned down beautifully, as usual.
