A vibrant, yellow marigold
Buds in threshold
A thing of joy
And pure beauty!
Surrounded by rose and jasmine,
It keeps blooming;
Sheer ecstasy
No jealousy.
Its grace lies in simplicity
No self-pity;
Nature has room
For all to bloom.

Ha! A minute poem seems like a daunting endeavour:) The last line especially resonates with me "Nature has room
ReplyDeletefor all to bloom"
speaks of inclusivity which I have been trying to add imagery for one of my future poems.
This is lovely. i love the simplicity of the poem.

Learning new forms :) I love the last lines more. The entire poem brings in the meaning with such simplicity. No race, no competition, no self underestimation. Nature has room for everyone to bloom :)
ReplyDeleteWell, this is quite true for real life as well. Beautifully written, yet again! :)
