Oodles of dreams
Twinkling in the two small eyes,
Some bears fruit, ripe and savory
Whereas some perishes, like flowers in storm
Slaying the soul within...
Eyes enshrouded by despair
Heart scathed bitterly.
Silently from those scars,
Something looms up...
Lesions of broken dreams
Metamorphose into seeds of willpower;
Firm and determined
Replenishing confidence and life within.
I have written this poem for all the dreamers out there who never give up on their dreams, even if their dreams get shattered or broken on the way. They fight for their dreams relentlessly and chase their dreams despite failures and adversities. They don't stop until they get hold of their dreams.
I believe that I am a restless dreamer. What about you?

DeleteNever settle for anything no matter how adverse situations may turn you is a lesson I sensed out from your poem dear. So beautifully weaved and I loved the phrase "Eyes enshrouded by despair". So ethereal... well shaking hands with you even I am a restless dreamer. :') Mom has always been telling me "Rise with Dignity after every Fall, Fault & Failure in life. And just like your poem, I believe amidst any circumstance one should never stop dreaming. Only when you dream big, you would achieve high.
ReplyDeleteYay! I was pretty sure that you are a restless dreamer too. I can always connect to dreamers so easily.

DeleteSuch a fine testimony to strength and determination. I have had to fight for my dreams--sometimes a lonely task--but forever worth it. Sometimes people get let behind. "Restless dreamer" is a neat phrase. One could also be a constant one, a relentless one or even a faithful one. You got me thinking now.
ReplyDeleteYour blog is very informative one,thanks sharing it among us.
