The Evening Sky (FPFS~Day 1)

(I took this picture during my trip to a place called Noorpur in WestBengal from where the Ganges looked beautiful)

Countless emotions
Somersault at the profound core
Of her being;
Mirroring the sky
That swiftly changes colors
During dawn and dusk.

Perplexing and harrowing
Her heart sometimes agonizes
And frequently blisters;
But she can fathom
This too shall pass
Everything is transient and nothing lasts.

She gazes at the evening sky
Till it gets pitch dark
Faintly alight by few stars;
But she is mindful
The more dark it gets,
The more ablaze it would be with the new sunshine.

I have been tagged by my friend Kiran and my brother Sachin to take part in the Five photos Five stories challenge (FPFS) which is- Post a picture for 5 consecutive days and attach a post to it fiction, poem or short write-up. It can be anything to suit your taste.

I am tagging my dear friend Gaurab who has always been my driving force behind blogging on Day One and as a part of challenge, I will tag a new person on Day Two.
